How We Operate 

The Fraser Valley Youth Society is a registered not for profit society, based in Abbotsford British Columbia. We receive funding and support from our community partners, and others who wish to support queer youth in the Fraser Valley.

Abbotsford Community Services' Youth Resource Centre has provided us with the space to run our drop-in for many years. They have supported our youth and connected them with other valuable resources within the community.

The Ministry of Children and Family Development has generously provided the Fraser Valley Youth Society with funds to maintain it's services and further develop it's organizational structure.

The We're Funny That Way Foundation awarded the Fraser Valley Youth Society $25,000 in order for us to continue running our drop-in services and provide our youth with opportunities to engage in the LGBTQ community at large.

The Fraser Valley Youth Society has also partnered with the C.A.L.L. Out! Project (Vancouver) to provide innovative and relevant ways to engage queer youth in dialogue and pro social activities.

The society provides a link for our youth to participate in events for queer youth in surrounding communities. GAB Youth Services invites the Fraser Valley Youth Society to join them at their events, which always turn out to be a lot fo fun for our youth and volunteers.
